What's in a Name?

I go by "Timespike" on the internet. (And by the way, it's "Time Spike," not "Time's Pike"). Occasionally someone asks me why, or where it came from. Sadly, the answer's not profound. Timespike was a superhero I came up with back in high school for a GURPS Supers game that never happened and was then tossed into a superhero universe that I'd created with occasional help from my buddies Paul and Greg. I was very passionate about it at the time, but somehow was never quite passionate enough about it to actually do anything with it. I might some day, but probably not. At any rate, I use it now for the simple reasons that I like the way it looks on screen (and sounds off the tongue) and that nobody else uses it. That's it. Pretty boring, huh?
